Description:
As Forte drifts aimlessly in the dark recesses of the UnderNet, a pulsating power awakens him from his slumber, warning him of a dangerous being ahead. A face materializes from within a bright purple blob and taunts Forte with eerie laughter. Before he can react, the blob engulfs him, rendering him powerless and trapped within its grasp. As the sun sets on a peaceful city, its inhabitants go about their daily routines. Suddenly, a shimmering purple light catches the attention of curious onlookers on a sidewalk. In mere moments, the light expands into a massive pillar that tears through everything in its path, sending the people into a frenzy of terror. The clocktower chimes 4 o'clock as the destructive pillar dissolves, leaving behind a trail of cybernetic debris and an eerie silence. This is the story of 'The Program of Light and Dark.'
