Anzu's simple pleasures in life are limited to video games, chocolate, and her beloved feline companion. She is one of the few high school girls who has absolutely no interest in romantic relationships. However, her life takes a bizarre turn when she unknowingly becomes the protagonist of a poorly designed 3D otome game. An odd sorcerer, Riri, named her "subject one" and made her the first person to experience a dating game harem storyline in real life. Anzu is outraged by this and repeatedly objects to Riri about the idea, but all in vain. Riri confiscates Anzu's prized possessions to force her into prioritizing love. Consequently, Anzu is forced to undergo a series of preposterous incidents and cliched romantic encounters that prompt her to cross paths with Tsukasa Kazuki, one of the most charming boys at her school. Despite her intense resistance, Anzu refuses to succumb to Tsukasa's enchanting appeal. However, Riri introduces other stereotypical handsome boys into her life, making it increasingly challenging for her to evade romance. Gradually, Anzu starts to warm up to Tsukasa's amiable nature, thanks to all the absurdly fabricated scenarios that Riri has created.
