Description:
Japan has become an endless sandy wasteland due to an apocalyptic event, where survivors live in fear of a rusting disease. The government has accused Bisco Akaboshi, nicknamed "Man-Eating Mushroom," of causing the catastrophe by releasing mushroom spores. Bisco disputes this accusation and instead, takes on the role of a "Mushroom Protector," determined to find the "Sabikui" mushroom which is the ultimate cure for the spreading disease. Accompanied by his giant crab friend, Akutagawa, and the compassionate Dr. Milo Nekoyanagi, who seeks a cure for his sick sister, Bisco embarks on this quest. Despite facing widespread negativity, he persists in his mission to resurrect the crumbling world.
