Description:
Based on Konami's Gradius video game series, three tales unfold. The planet Latis is ravaged by the Space Dragon Salamander and their war planet while the Bacterian horde destroys everything in sight. Despite the planet's defenses being ineffective and hope dwindling, Lord British enlists the help of three heroes from Gradius to defend his beloved planet. In a prequel, a girl from a distant planet issues a foreboding warning to Gradius about the Bacterians. This is the story of how three people eventually become heroes of the galaxy. Fast forward to the future, after the signing of a peace treaty. One of our heroes is taken captive by the Bacterians. Will the military might of Gradius and our remaining heroes be enough to save the prisoner from an unimaginable fate?
