Yoshikazu Miyano's troubles begin one scorching summer day upon encountering Shuumei Sasaki. When Sasaki rescues one of Miyano's classmates from bullies, Miyano cannot shake off the peculiar upperclassman. Miyano's initial admiration for Sasaki soon turns to irritation as this self-proclaimed rebel invades his personal space, disregarding Miyano's boundaries, and showering him with cute pet names. Miyano cannot comprehend why Sasaki is determined to get close to him. Miyano is painfully shy and blushes easily. He holds a dark secret: he is a "fudanshi," a male who delights in reading boys' love manga. Unfortunately, he inadvertently reveals this to Sasaki. To his amazement, Sasaki is fascinated and asks to borrow one of his books. Miyano hesitantly agrees, expecting Sasaki to recoil at the content. However, Sasaki relishes the BL story and craves more, causing a crucial turning point in their peculiar bond. Although Sasaki's motives appear questionable, his feelings towards Miyano become more complex as they spend time together discussing their shared passion.
