For a lengthy period, humanity has polluted the ocean thoughtlessly by dumping their waste and spoiling the environment where numerous marine creatures inhabit. The poisoning actions of humans have inflicted suffering upon the sea dwellers. Ultimately, a specific squid has become fed up and vowed to penalize these egocentric acts. Ika Musume possesses all the menacing abilities of a squid, including forceful hair-tentacles, the capacity to spew ink, and bioluminescence manipulation. She takes it upon herself to rise from the depths of the ocean and seek retribution against humans. She surfaces at the Lemon Beach House, a restaurant operated by Eiko and Chizuru Aizawa. Presuming this to be an effortless step toward world domination, she immediately declares war; nevertheless, she becomes aware that she is quite out of her element. To worsen matters, she damages a wall of the beach house to flaunt her superiority, and consequently, she is compelled to work as a waitress to compensate for the costs of repair. Ika Musume is stranded temporarily after facing an intense defeat at the hands of the Aizawa sisters, and therefore, she must postpone her plans for world domination.
