Description:
Due to his lack of social connections, Yukiteru Amano, a nervous middle schooler, chronicles his daily activities on his phone's diary app. He frequently communicates with his imaginary pals, Deus Ex Machina, the deity of the temporal realm, and Deus' aide, Mur Mur. One day, Yukiteru's phone begins predicting forthcoming occurrences, astonishing him. At first, he believes it is pure coincidence, but he eventually comprehends that his phone's predictions are accurate. Along with Yuno Gasai, a schoolmate with a comparable diary, Yukiteru realizes they are two of the twelve competitors participating in a survival game to become Deus Ex Machina's successor. To survive in the cut-throat competition, Yukiteru and Yuno must outsmart the other participants by employing their "Future Diaries" to their advantage. It's an unforgiving battle royale with no sympathy.
