Description:
Lord Hugh Anthony Disward, or Huey, was left reeling six months ago when his beloved grandfather, Sir Wesley Disward, passed away. The quirky and eccentric collector of rare books had bequeathed his estate and all its contents to Huey, but there was a condition: he must become the guardian of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, an archive containing forbidden knowledge, and look after a mysterious girl named Dalian. Settling into his new life, Huey is approached by an old enemy of his grandfather's. Dalian, sensing danger, accompanies Huey and discovers that the rival is the one who killed Wesley and is now in possession of a Phantom Book - a cursed tome that Wesley had tried to lock away. When the book puts their lives in danger, Huey discovers that the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian and Dalian are one and the same, and she entrusts him with the key to unlocking the mystical knowledge within her. Together, they put the Phantom Book away and embark on an unexpected partnership, as they unravel mysteries caused by other Phantom Books.
