Description:

Lina Inverse, a sorceress of immense power and insatiable greed, roamed the globe taking treasures from bandits that dared to cross her path. Her latest victims, a gang of thieves, lay in wait in a forest, thirsty for vengeance. Lina was moments away from decimating her would-be attackers when a swordsman named Gourry Gabriev appeared out of nowhere. Assuming that Lina was in distress, Gourry bravely confronted the bandits to protect her. After triumphantly defeating them, the oblivious but generous man offered to escort Lina to Atlas City. Reluctantly, Lina agreed. Unbeknownst to her, Lina had acquired a powerful magical item among her latest spoils. Two mysterious individuals began to hunt down the young wizard and her self-proclaimed protector in order to obtain this coveted object for their sinister agenda. Thus, their adventure began, one where the fate of the entire world may be at stake.
