Description:
Mirai, a middle school student, harbors discontent toward her family and wishes to tear everything apart in a moment of frustration. Unfortunately, her destructive thoughts manifest in a magnitude 8.0 earthquake only moments later. During summer vacation, Mirai reluctantly accompanies her younger brother Yuuki to an Odaiba robot exhibition he wishes to attend. Yet, a major earthquake rocks the Kanto region while they are inside the exhibition center. The devastating force of the natural disaster immobilizes the city, and the siblings are left helpless. In the wake of the catastrophe, the siblings meet Mari Kusakabe, a single mother and motorcyclist, who resolves to assist them. With their sights set on going back home and reuniting with their families, the group embarks on a grueling journey through the ravaged metropolis.
