Description:
A small island was home to Manatsu Natsuumi, a first-year junior high school student. But the day came when she had to leave her island behind. That's when she met Laura, a mermaid girl on a solo mission to find the legendary warrior known as PreCure. Laura hailed from the Grand Ocean, a place now under attack by a witch who lived in the murky depths of the sea. Her curse had robbed them of all their motivational powers, which could mean trouble for the entire world if humans suffered the same fate. In a bid to save Laura, who had been kidnapped by the witch's henchman, Manatsu assumed the guise of Cure Summer.
