Description:
Lum becomes extremely upset after discovering that all of Tomobiki has received an invitation to Ataru's wedding, but she has not been listed as the bride. This is especially distressing as it is revealed that 11 years prior, Ataru engaged in a game of "Shadow Tag" with a young girl named Elle and won. Unfortunately, Elle was an Alien Princess, and on her planet, if a boy steps on a girl's shadow, a marriage must occur. When Elle's representative arrives to make arrangements, Lum attempts to win Ataru back with her love-zaps, but a force-field now protects him. Lum's friend Benten has the idea of a pre-emptive wedding, and they proceed to kidnap Ataru and all of the wedding guests. The stage is then set for a shotgun wedding like no other.
