From their abode, on clear days, the family can gaze across the sea and see the artificial Blue Island with its game-changing creation, the Manifestation Engine, at its hub - a source of boundless energy that remedied a global crisis. The future is one of calm felicity, idealized by all. A reality where elation is ubiquitous, and life is lived with bright countenances. Yet, abruptly, the world is subjected to a threat. An unknown adversary, christened the Alone, emerges, determined to decimate the Manifestation Engine. All attempts to thwart them fail, and despair sets in.
