Description:
The anime "Wake Up, Girls!" follows the journey of seven girls residing in Sendai, Miyagi. The girls form an idol group called "Wake Up, Girls!" and with their bond and collaboration, they strive to reach the top position. The group operates under the guidance of a small production company, "Green Leaves Entertainment," and faces many obstacles to win the Idol Festival against the famous "I-1 club." They become top idols in no time; however, the idol recession complicates their path to success. Despite the situation, the girls stick to their values and keep working hard. In the meantime, three middle school students from Sendai - Hayashi Ayumi, Morishima Otome, and Atsugi Itsuka - catch the desire to become idols as well.
