Description:

Veludo Way is a hub for enthusiasts of seasoned actors and street performances. After receiving a cryptic letter, Izumi Tachibana journeys to the venue where her father once directed the prominent theater troupe Mankai Company. Unfortunately, the edifice is on the verge of being repurposed because of a massive debt. Izumi persuades the debt collector to grant the troupe one last chance, but on three conditions: in a month, they should produce a profitable inaugural show, restore the four all-male sub-troupes, and clear the debt in a year. Adding to the complications, Izumi is obligated to be the director. Izumi promptly forms a Spring Troupe consisting of five members: Sakuya Sakuma, an enthusiastic high schooler; Masumi Usui, a boy infatuated with Izumi; Tsuzuru Minagi, a promising playwright; Itaru Chigasaki, an experienced office worker, and Citron, a congenial foreigner. Despite their lack of expertise in acting, Izumi has no choice but to train them relentlessly for a performance that will restore Mankai Company's past magnificence.
