Description:
Japan establishes Tokyo Butei High, a prestigious institution where individuals deemed as "Butei" or armed detectives can enhance their deadly skills and aspire to become mercenary-like enforcers of justice, due to the surge in criminal activity. Kinji Tooyama, a reserved and terse sophomore dropout who used to attend the combat-centric Assault Division, is one of the Butei attendees. Kinji currently occupies himself studying logistics to conceal his powerful yet mortifying special ability. Nonetheless, his serenity dwindles when the notorious "Butei Killer" targets him. Subsequently, a top-level prodigy named Aria Holmes Kanzaki, who is exceptionally expressive, rescues Kinji from the perilous situation. Upon witnessing Kinji's genuine potential, Aria insists he unite with her as her partner.
