Description:
The remaining humans within Flandore's borders are defenseless in the presence of vicious monsters, their glass walls offering little protection. Their only hope lies in the Noble class's ability to wield mana magic. Melida, the next generation heir of the House of Angel, has reached the age where she must exhibit her magical abilities. However, her failure to do so has prompted her grandfather, the head of the house, to send a half-vampire named Kufa to intervene. Kufa has been given clear instructions: if Melida is unable to manifest her mana abilities, he must execute her as her impure blood renders her unworthy. Overwhelmed with sorrow upon witnessing Melida's inability to demonstrate her magical skills, Kufa is unable to execute the lively young woman who committed no crime other than being born to an adulterous mother. Instead, he defies his orders, breaking the law and transferring a portion of his own mana to Melida.
