Description:
In 2021, humans are infected with the Gastrea virus, transforming them into monsters. The surviving population resides within the Monolith walls made of Varanium, the sole material that can harm Gastrea. To combat this danger, girls known as Cursed Children with traces of the virus are granted extraordinary abilities and named Initiators by the Tendo Civil Security. They are paired with Promoters who protect and direct them in battling the virus-generated monsters. Enju Aihara, an Initiator, and Satomi Rentaro, a Promoter, team up in Tokyo to fight the encroaching Gastrea threat in Black Bullet.
