Description:
College freshman Keitarou Gentouga despises ghosts, but nonetheless finds himself attracting these spirits due to a strange connection. Unfortunately, two years prior, this connection caused Keitarou to suffer a spiritual injury on his right hand, with his friend also experiencing the damaging effects. This event transformed him into a shut-in, leaving him with dismal social skills. However, with the help of his childhood friend, Eiko Houzuki, Keitarou is gradually reintegrating himself back into society. As a form of rehabilitation, Keitarou assumes the part-time job of a private tutor, with his first pupil being none other than Eiko's cousin, Yayoi Houzuki. In addition to being a child prodigy, Yayoi possesses a spiritual constitution, similar to Keitarou. However, unlike Keitarou, she craves to encounter ghosts, with the hope of locating the spirit that took her mother away. As Yayoi and Eiko drag Keitarou to haunted locations, his job as a private tutor seems to be straying away from its original intent.
