Description:
On his first day of high school, Hitohito Tadano aims to blend in and avoid any trouble. However, his plan falls apart when he ends up sitting next to the beautiful and popular girl, Shouko Komi. Suddenly, Tadano becomes a target for his peers, who want to sit next to Komi. Despite her popularity, Komi suffers from anxiety and a communication disorder that makes it difficult for her to socialize. When Tadano and Komi are alone in the classroom, they begin to communicate via writing on the blackboard. Tadano is the first to realize Komi's difficulties, and he decides to help her achieve her goal of making one hundred friends. He becomes Komi's first-ever friend and her invaluable ally.
