Description:

Invited by a classmate to play a mobile game called Darwin's Game, high school student Kaname Sudou is bitten by a green snake that pops out of his phone screen, causing him to lose consciousness. After waking up in the infirmary without any physical signs of injury, the confused teen is advised by the school to rest for the day. Despite dismissing the incident as a strange hallucination, Kaname's curiosity gets the best of him and he decides to play the game again. Initially relieved to see that the game appears to be just like any other battle game, his relief is short-lived as his opponent suddenly appears before him and tries to kill him with a knife. Realizing that Darwin's Game is a brutal fight for survival, Kaname desperately runs for his life.
