Description:
William Twining, a haughty noble of seventeen, prides himself on his family lineage and devotion to contemporary science. However, his world is turned upside down when he discovers that his family fortune has been decimated, and he can no longer support his accustomed lifestyle and tuition. In a desperate quest for treasure in his estate, he unwittingly summons Dantalion, an arrogant demon, the Grand Duke of Hell, via a concealed room. Lucifer, the ruler of Hell, is apparently in a deep sleep, leaving only the human "Elector" authority to choose a stand-in. This situation in the underworld causes anxiety among demonkind. Despite being informed that he is King Solomon's direct descendant, with unwavering power in the underworld, William dismisses it all. He refuses to recognize that he is at the epicenter of the battle between Heaven and Hell, being a defiant realist who denies the existence of all magic and supernatural phenomena.
