Description:

The provinces of Shin-Ou and Tai-Kou in the land of Ryoza have maintained peaceful relations, ruled by Queen Shinou and defended by Grand Duke Taikou and his formidable army of war-lizards, known as the "Touda". However, tensions are high and a civil war seems imminent. Erin resides in Ake, a village in Tai-Kou where her mother Soyon is the head Touda doctor responsible for raising the Grand Duke's army. But when Soyon fails to prevent a calamity that befalls the mightiest Touda, Erin's life changes drastically. Soyon is punished severely, and Erin's world is shattered. In a desperate bid to save her mother, Erin embarks on a journey that takes her across the river to Shin-Ou, where she must adapt to unfamiliar people and surroundings while grappling with the mysteries of humanity and beast alike. As tensions between the two provinces heighten, Erin must uncover the truth and navigate the ever-changing landscape in a bid to restore peace.
