Description:
The story is set in a future world where the Earth's resources have been depleted, and progress has come to a halt. The population has been divided into separate "Units." In Unit 74, located in a place called "Night Town," a young boy by the name of Hajiki Sanada lives with his mother and sister. At midnight, all power in Night Town is switched off. The central theme of the story revolves around an extraordinary item known as GAD. It has the incredible ability to analyze the emotions of living organisms and reconstruct matter accordingly. The resulting form is based on the lifeform's feelings and sentiments. One day, while handling a GAD, Hajiki accidentally transforms it into a massive robot, or Tekkoudo, which he names Lightning. As Hajiki encounters more people with Tekkoudos like his, he must navigate how to interact with this newfound "kin."
