Description:
Gintoki and his allies, including Katsura and the Joui rebels, are on the run after joining the resistance against the bakufu. The group is later contacted by Nobume Imai and two members of the Kiheitai, who inform them that the Harusame pirates have betrayed their former ally, Takasugi, and that he is missing. In addition, Nobume reveals the existence of the Tendoushuu- an enigmatic organization- and their leader Utsuro, who bears a striking resemblance to Gintoki's former teacher. To locate Takasugi, the Kiheitai recruit Gintoki to undertake the mission. The Yorozuya and Katsura then journey to Rakuyou, Kagura's home planet, onboard Sakamoto's spaceship, where the various factions have gathered and tensions are high. Ultimately, the planetside battle characterizes a culmination of past grudges, political infighting, and the Tendoushuu's sinister larger plan.
