Description:

Saenome has the responsibility of controlling tsukumogami, which are spirits that inhabit objects and can potentially cause harm to society. Generally, these spirits are calm and can be pacified through communication. However, Hyouma Kunato's negative experience with a malevolent tsukumogami has resulted in him using physical force to subdue them. Zouhei, Hyouma's grandfather and the leader of their clan, does not approve of this approach and believes that a future leader should have a more comprehensive outlook. Zouhei suggests that Hyouma temporarily live with Botan Nagatsuki, a member of a family of six tsukumogami. Although Hyouma is initially uncertain, his main objective is to locate the spirit that has taken everything from him. Hyouma agrees to the plan and tries to gain Botan's trust while also overcoming his dislike for her family. In addition, Hyouma must confront malevolent spirits that pose a threat to the fragile equilibrium of the world.
