Description:
In a world plagued by conflict between witches and humans, a group known as "beastfallen" exists. These cursed humans possess animal-like appearances and abilities, causing others to fear them. Many beastfallen turn to hunting witches to make a living. However, a whimsical witch named Zero seeks the help of a particular beastfallen, known as "Mercenary," to protect her. Along with a young magician named Albus, the trio embarks on a quest to locate the Grimoire of Zero, a powerful spell book with dangerous potential. As they travel together, Mercenary's natural kindness and empathy emerge, causing him to connect with both humans and witches. The group bonds as they journey, overcoming animosity and uniting to achieve their goals.
