Description:
In the world of professional sumo, weight classes do not exist, making it a brutal sport that favors the strongest warriors. Anyone who dares to test their courage can step into the ring, but there is a mandatory minimum size for pro sumo wrestlers. Unfortunately, Hinomaru Ushio, a talented and hardworking young man, falls short of this requirement. Despite his small stature, he aspires to reach Hinoshita Kaisan, the highest level of sumo, but can only do so by becoming the High School Yokozuna - a prestigious title awarded to the mightiest wrestler in high school tournaments. Ushio faces immense pressure and has limited time to fulfill his dream. If he fails to showcase his abilities in the high school competitions, his chances of going pro may vanish completely. The odds are already stacked against him, and to make matters worse, he opts to enroll in Odachi High instead of the renowned Ishigami High, the best school for sumo in Japan. Ushio and his lone ally, Shinya Ozeki, must build a sumo club from scratch at Odachi High, a true underdog in the sumo world. With unwavering determination, Ushio must hurdle obstacles and overcome challenges if he aspires to become a professional sumo wrestler.
