Description:
Following Saizou's demise, Kabamaru's extremely austere grandfather and instructor in the ways of the Iga ninja, an elderly woman named Ran Ookubo asserts that she has received a missive from him enjoining her to care for his grandson. Thus, Kabamaru accompanies Lady Ookubo to the sprawling metropolis of Tokyo, where they indulge in a feast of yakisoba, ramen, chow mein and attend a conventional school, which boasts of some eccentricities.
