Description:
Ta-chan, the self-proclaimed King of the Jungle, was left to fend for himself in the harsh savanna. Luckily, he was taken under the wing of a chimpanzee named Etekichi who raised him as his own. Ta-chan eventually finds love with Jane, a former top model from New York who has seen better days. Together with his disciple Pedro and a skilled martial artist named Ryo, Ta-chan fights tirelessly against poachers to protect his animal friends. This popular anime is adapted from the eponymous manga and starts off as a humorous Tarzan parody in the first few episodes. However, the series takes a more serious turn later on.
