Description:
A young girl flees from the dismal future that awaited her in her homeland and adopts a new name and persona after a man sacrifices his life to help her escape. Accompanied by a conversant motorcycle, she finds refuge in a forest where an elderly woman skilled in firearms resides. The woman trains her in marksmanship and motorcycling, among other essential survival abilities. Despite enjoying her current life, the girl's remorse for her rescuer's death grows. She blames herself for it and debates whether using his name is appropriate. She realizes she must accept her new identity and move forward in her life. Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - Nanika wo Suru Tame ni - Life Goes On. chronicles her experiences as she tries to come to terms with her new persona.
