Description:
The solar system was annihilated a millennium ago by the Gauna, an enigmatic extraterrestrial race that defies all communication attempts. Some of humanity sought refuge by embarking on colossal "seed ships" such as the Sidonia, which enable them to endure their wandering through the universe while preserving their population. Nagate Tanikaze is a young individual groomed in the depths of the vessel. As he undergoes training to operate the colossal robotic weaponry called Gardes, Nagate becomes the designated pilot of the fabled unit dubbed Tsugumori. Alongside his companions, Nagate lays his life on the line in the ultimate match against the Gauna, determining the very existence of humanity!
