Description:
In the 37th year of the Meiji Era (1904), during the Russo-Japanese war, the Japanese army needed assistance and turned to their unique flying vessel, the Amanohara, which was made possible by a benevolent demon. The vessel was used to attack Russia's main base at Port Arthur (Lushun). Umakai Shintaro, a Russian diplomat originally from Japan, defected to teach at a distinctive girls' academy in Sapporo, which was located on board the Amanohara. The Raimu Unit, consisting of five girls, possessed the power to summon powerful creatures to fight alongside them. Shintaro, the teacher and the leader of the girls, joined them on their unusual and explicit journey. He helped the girls overcome their weaknesses, become stronger for the final battle at Lushun, and uncover the motives of the "Russian Spiritual Corps" who were aiding the enemy. Shintaro even recognized one member of the corps from his past.
