Description:
Ezaki Yuuichi has been confined to a hospital after contracting hepatitis A, much to his dismay as it separates him from his loved ones. To keep his mind occupied, he habitually sneaks out of the hospital and risks punishment from his nurse. One day, while enjoying his usual escape, he encounters Akiba Rika, a girl his age who is also hospitalized. Yuuichi is immediately taken by Rika's physical appeal, though her personality leaves much to be desired as she exhibits selfish and irritable behavior. Despite this, they grow closer over time and experience the ups and downs of adolescent love, but their happiness is threatened by the tragic reality of Rika's limited time left to live.
