Description:

The storyline of the show revolves around Lupin, the main character, and is set in Italy and San Marino. It is interesting to note that the anime was first broadcasted in Italy and then in Japan. Lupin III enthusiasts would easily spot the evolution of his iconic coat's color - starting off as green in the initial series and some OVAs, turning red in the second series and assorted films and TV specials, and now, finally, transitioning to blue in the latest installment. What sets the third series apart is the use of an unusual coat color - pink - for Lupin.
