Description:

Daigo, son of the legendary baseball player Gorou Shigeno, feels the pressure to follow in his father's footsteps and become an all-star player himself. Eager to fulfill his grand ambition, Daigo joins the Mifune Dolphins, the same little league team his dad played on, the moment he enters fourth grade. Unfortunately, his lack of talent and understanding for the game become apparent during the first few practices, resulting in shattered confidence and an early departure from the team. After two years, a new student transfers into Daigo's sixth-grade class, and it turns out to be Hikaru, the son of Gorou's close friend and fellow baseball star, Toshiya Satou. One day, Daigo's mother receives a call from the Dolphins asking for players, and Daigo reluctantly accompanies her to the game. There, he is shocked to discover Hikaru, who, despite his father's profession, has never played baseball before. Unlike Daigo, Hikaru picks up the game quickly and displays an impressive performance. Despite their stark differences, they both share the same destiny, which culminates on the baseball field—the world cherished by their fathers.
