Description:
In 1977, North Korea abducted Megumi Yokota when she was 13 years old. Although the country admits to also abducting at least 12 other Japanese residents during the late 1970s and 1980s, North Korea has not offered any definite proof regarding Megumi's fate, nor that of most of the other abductees.
