Description:
Once upon a time, a young lad caught wind of merry church bells chiming one balmy summer day in a nearby mountain. That very same peak is where mushishi Ginko happens upon an unusual young maiden whose body sprouts weeds aplenty. As Ginko sets out to learn more about the enigmatic girl known as Kaya, he fortuitously runs into Yoshiro, now a grown man, who assists in unraveling the mysterious circumstances that surround both the mountain and its curious inhabitant. Based on the last chapter of the manga, "Mushishi Zoku Shou: Suzu no Shizuku," Ginko's otherworldly quest takes him through twists and turns as he seeks to uncover the truth about Kaya and the mountain that's become her refuge.
