Description:
A decade had elapsed since the catastrophic event of Second Impact shook the planet in 2015. As humanity was still reeling from the aftermath, a select few became privy to the existence of the Angels - malevolent and gargantuan creatures intent on unleashing the Third Impact and annihilating the last vestiges of mankind. Shinji's father, Gendou Ikari, summons him to Tokyo-3 to join the epic fight for humanity's survival. Having been separated for years following his mother's demise, Shinji hopes that his father wants to mend their fractured relationship. However, he soon discovers the true purpose of his recruitment - to pilot the Evangelion Unit-01, a mammoth machine designed to combat the Angels. As he battles against humanity's foremost enemy one wave after another, he becomes embroiled in a conspiracy that could determine the destiny of humanity for all eternity.
