Description:
Living on the fringes of a quaint rural village is Giovanni, a boy of tender age. His mother is confined to her bed, and his father has been absent since he embarked on a fishing expedition. Giovanni is a social pariah at school, and he has only one ally in the mayor's son, Campanella. On the day of the Festival of Stars, Giovanni daydreams upon a hill, and he spots a steam train hovering in the sky. He steps onto the train, only to find that Campanella is already present. Together, they voyage through the galaxy, encountering peculiar individuals and exploring wondrous and eerie locales.
