Description:
As a guest conductor for the Recyl Symphony Orchestra in Paris, Yukihisa Matsuda, the principal conductor of the Rising Star Orchestra, prepares to showcase his talent with Wagner's Tannhäuser Overture. However, upon overhearing the orchestra members praising Shinichi Chiaki, a budding Japanese conductor of the Roux-Marlet Orchestra, Matsuda cannot help but feel disdain towards having another "Black-Haired Noble" in the same city. Following a disappointing break-up with his mistress after the performance, Matsuda approaches Chiaki and invites him for a drink to discuss their careers. Nevertheless, much to Chiaki's disappointment, the conversation eventually takes a turn to focus on the matter of Chiaki's own love interest.
