Description:

150 years ago, the people of Hinomoto were freed from the rule of the samurai. They lead peaceful lives and honor their liberators, who are known as demons that have mysterious true forms, as gods. Despite his duty to mine rocks for the demons, Musashi is aware of the bitter truth; humanity is enslaved by these unearthly beings and only the samurai can fight for their freedom. This knowledge leaves Musashi troubled and distant from his childhood friend, Kojirou Kanemaki, as he keeps his true feelings to himself until graduation day. Upon arriving at the mine, the new graduates are appalled to see the cruelty inflicted upon the miners and the eerie physical appearance of their supervisors. Nevertheless, with Kojirou's support, Musashi endures the grim situation. As the demon leader devastates the quarry, Musashi is once again rescued by the Takeda samurai clan, avoiding certain death. After healing from the humiliation and craving new experiences, Musashi sets out on a journey to become a samurai and establish his own clan!
