Description:
With their diverse abilities, powers, and personalities, Pokémon are fascinating creatures of varying sizes and types. Dr. Yukinari Ookido has spent his life studying these marvels. Though limited in his research from his lab, he entrusts two young boys - his nephew Green, known for his brash and slightly arrogant personality, and the wide-eyed and mildly naive Red - with Pokémon and an encyclopedia to catalog them. Pokémon: The Origin follows Red on his journey through Kanto to fill his Pokédex, learning more about himself and his objectives along the way. Facing difficulty from not only rival trainers and wild Pokémon, but also the malicious Team Rocket, Red challenges Gyms and their leaders to reach the Pokémon League and become a Champion - realizing his dream, and that of Dr. Ookido's, if he succeeds in defeating them all.
