Description:
As a freshman in high school, Miyanaga Saki is faced with a predicament when it comes to participating in family mahjong games. Winning would anger her family, but losing also holds adverse consequences. In order to navigate this issue, Saki devises a new strategy that involves achieving the challenging plus/minus zero score, which is determined by luck. Despite the difficulties, Saki consistently achieves this score, skillfully walking the line between winning and losing. Although Saki has always loathed the activity, she is eventually convinced to try it by her former middle school friend, Suga Kyotoro. He encourages her to join the school's mahjong club, where her developing abilities and remarkable good fortune make her a formidable adversary, even against the nation's top ranking middle school mahjong winner.
