Description:

Mechanized samurai once waged war on a planet that may have once been called Earth. After the conflict came to an end, the inhabitants enjoyed a degree of peace. However, the villagers of Kanna Village were confronted with the terror of being taken by the vicious bandits known as Nobuseri, who had replaced their bodies with machinery, and the looming threat of starvation. They were forced to make the dangerous decision to hire samurai for protection. Kirara, the village's water priestess, her younger sister Komachi, and heartbroken Rikichi sought out help, offering only rice from their meager harvests. Luckily, they managed to gather a group of seven samurai with varied expertise. Together, they faced off against the bandits and the merchants controlling them in a massive confrontation. Samurai 7 is a loosely based on Kurosawa Akira's renowned movie Seven Samurai, also known as Shichinin no Samurai.
