Description:

Several years ago, a colossal meteorite made impact with Earth, unearthing a enigmatic capsule believed to have belonged to extraterrestrial beings. Dubbed the "black box," a global organization called "Project BB" was formed to study it. Manabu Yoshimura and seven other boys attend the International Academy, a school situated close to the headquarters of Project BB. Their instructor, Toukichi Hashiba, offers them the incentive of earning class credit if they partake in his experiment. The objective is to enter the eight empty chambers within the meteorite. According to Hashiba's hypothesis, the meteorite should respond to powerful human thoughts. He instructs the boys to concentrate on a mental image of a visually striking, colossal robot - something should occur after that. Suddenly, a massive spaceship materializes in the sky, and an alien named Wercury manifests in 3-D imagery. He introduces himself as a being from the Star of Prokimasi, and reveals that he has arrived to claim the meteorite belonging to the Choshin people. If they refuse to surrender it, he will challenge the inhabitants of Earth to battle. Although Manabu and his friends are bewildered by this sudden twist, the meteorite responds to their collective thoughts and promptly reshapes itself into a giant robot. Forced to fight off the invading Prokimasi robot, they must muster their strength and work together. However, it proves to be incredibly difficult to unite their wills as one, and their robot is unable to fight at full capacity. Can the massive robot dubbed "Gakusaver" by Hashiba, along with Manabu and his seven companions, successfully defend the Earth and the meteorite from the Prokimasi invasion?
