Description:
The Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters is the setting for the series, with a focus on 3 groups consisting of a weapon meister and a human weapon. Their mission is to collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch to transform their human weapon into a "Death Scythe", the highest rank for any weapon that is fit for use by the Shinigami. The main characters of the series include Maka & Soul Eater, Black Star & Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with Patty and Liz Thompson. In addition to their soul collecting duties, these students of Shibusen also defend Death City from powerful creatures while attending school and striving to improve their skills.
