Description:
Subaru Ichinose discovers comfort and protection inside the cozy confines of his cockpit, reminiscent of a womb. He retreats to this personal space when his interactions with others prove to be challenging. As the Tiramisu spacecraft's top ace pilot, Subaru is tasked with preserving Mother Earth from the potential dangers of human exploration into the distant reaches of space. He accomplishes this goal by piloting his personal mech, the Durandal, to fend off invading colonies. Despite this important responsibility, Subaru deals with unusual disturbances, such as unexplained decorative changes and rogue deep-fried pork skewers. Additionally, he takes great care to avoid suffocation caused by wearing his shirts backwards. In the year 0156 of the Space Age, Subaru shoulders the sole responsibility of determining humanity's fate.
