Description:
Mario and Luigi own a grocery store in the movie. While Mario is playing his Famicom game one night, the TV suddenly goes blank and Princess Peach appears on the screen pleading for help against her enemies. Mario falls for her instantly and promises to protect her. Soon after, Koopa shows up on the screen, kidnaps Peach, and takes her back into the TV. Mario finds a brooch that Peach left on the floor. The following day, Mario is worried about the brooch's significance. Luigi notices and identifies it as the "Visionary Jewel from the Country of Treasure". Later, Kibidango, a small dog-like creature, enters the store and takes Peach's brooch from Mario, provoking him to chase after Kibidango into the Mushroom Kingdom along with Luigi.
