Many years in the past, Quarton was a tranquil planet in the shape of a cube that was inhabited by shape-shifting living bricks known as the Tenkai. Unfortunately, it was afflicted by a war between two opposing groups: the Corekai versus the Corrupted, led by the barbaric warlord Vilius, who sought to obtain the source of Tenkai Energy for his own purposes. However, the only ones who had the strength to overcome him were the Tenkai Knights consisting of Bravenwolf, Tributon, Valorn, and Lydendor. In his moment of defeat, Vilius summoned the formidable Tenkai Dragon, which was ultimately vanquished by the four Knights, resulting in its remains being scattered across the planet. These heroes vanished without a trace, but the Corrupted reemerged more formidable than before. Fast forward to the year 2034 on planet Earth, where four teenage individuals named Guren, Ceylan, Toxsa, and Chooki stumble upon an interdimensional portal to Quarton and are handpicked by the Guardians to undertake the role of the new generation of Tenkai Knights to deter Vilius from achieving dominance over both worlds.
